Itinerary

Day 01: Srinagar – Pahalgam
Meet upon arrival AT Srinagar airport and drive to Pahalgam “VALLEY OF SHEPHERDS” drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnubuilt by King Awantiwarman). Enroute visit “Mattan Temple” few kms ahead of Anantnag, a pond full of holy fishes is believed to be creations of Lord Shiva. Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. The total distance of about 96 kms will be covered in about 2 ½ hrs. On arrival at Pahalgam check in at your reserved hotel for overnight. One can enjoy a pony ride through thick pine forest, enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for AMARNATH PILGRIMAGE. Evening return hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Pahalgam – Darshan Amarnath – Pahalgam
After early breakfast transfer to Pahalgam Helipad spot and Departure to Panjtarni about 40.2 kms for Amarnath Ji Darshan. The Helicopter start operating at 06.00 Hrs (if Weather Permitts). Panjtarni is approx 6 Kms fromHolyCave, you can go there by Foot or can hire Palki/Pony at your own cost. After Darshan return back to Panjtarni to board helicopter to Pahalgam for dinner and Overnight stay .
Day 03: Pahalgam – Srinagar – Mughal Gardens + Shikara ride
After breakfast drive to Srinagar and check in at your reserved Hotel/ Houseboat …. Afternoon join a sightseeing trip to Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountainsin the background. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboat/hotel.
Day 04: Srinagar/ Departure
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar airport on time to catch your onward flight.
